Itinerary

• Day : 1  Arrive in SrinagarDinner

  Arrive at Srinagar Airport, meet our representative and proceed to your hotel in Srinagar. Drive through the heart of new Srinagar city and the Abdullah bridge which connects the Jhelum river, Check-in at the hotel. Free time to relax or explore on your own. Dinner and overnight stay at the Hotel in Srinagar.

• Day : 2  Srinagar - Sonamarg – Srinagar (80 kms – 2 hrs drive one way) Breakfast & Dinner

  Have breakfast and enjoy full day excursion of Sonmarg. It is one of the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. Sonmarg, also called Meadow of Gold is located at a height of 2690 meters. You may take a pony ride (at your own cost) to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year. Dinner and Overnight stay in Srinagar

• Day : 3  Srinagar – Gulmarg - SrinagarBreakfast & Dinner

  Have sumptuous breakfast and proceed for Gulmarg excursion driving through the colorful villages and rice fields will give you an insight of the rich cultural past of Kashmir. We arrive at a small picturesque market town of Tangmarg and drive ahead on a scenic drive of 14 kilometers to Gulmarg. We arrive in Gulmarg early in the afternoon and will begin a short tour around the meadow familarising ourselves with the beauty. In Gulmarg we will board the Gondola cable car system (Paying directly extra charges applicable), and ascend towards the Afarwatt Mountain range. The 08 minutes of ropeway will take you past colorful shepherd hutments to the lower ridge of the Afarwatt peak. From here you can click lots of photos of the nearby mountain ranges that stand tall like sentinels guarding the rich natural beauty of Kashmir valley. We descend back to Gulmarg base after an hour or so and later do some horse-riding to the strawberry valley. Later we drive back to Srinagar hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

• Day : 4  Srinagar- Sightseeing & Houseboat StayBreakfast & Dinner

  Have breakfast and enjoy local sightseeing of Srinagar which includes Shankaracharya Temple, Hazratbal Shrine, Shalimar Garden, Badam wari, Tulip Garden etc. Later we proceed to check-in at the Houseboat. Enjoy Shikara ride at Dal Lake.

• Day : 5  Srinagar- Pahalgam (91.6 km- 2 hrs drive)Breakfast & Dinner

  Today after breakfast check out from your hotel and drive towards Pahalgam. Drive past the saffron fields of Pampore, the marvellous ruins of Avantipura and the village of Bijbehara which remains famous as the bread basket of Kashmir. You can even sample a few exotic breads sold by vendors near the road. We switch the the national highway at Khanabal and drive through the second largest city of Anantnag. From here the road turns scenic as we drive parallel on the Lidder river flowing from the opposite direction. In Pahalgam check in at the hotel and later do some nature walks to unwind Yourselves. You can also opt to spend your half a day of sightseeing by driving (Directly paying) to the picturesque Chandanwari and Betaab valley or ride by horseback (Directly Paying ) across the wildlife sanctuary towards Baisaran meadows. Dinner & Overnight stay at the hotel in Pahalgam.

• Day : 6  Pahalgam – Katra (226 kms- apprx 6- 7 hrs drive)Breakfast & Dinner

  Have breakfast and proceed to Katra. Enroute stop at Patni Top. Reach Katra by evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the Hotel in Katra.

• Day : 7  Vaishno Devi DarshanBreakfast & Dinner

  Have breakfast and depart for Vaisho Devi Darshan. Return to hotel by evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Katra.

• Day : 8  Jammu Airport/ Railway Station DropBreakfast

  Have breakfast and get transferred to Jammu Airport OR SHMATA VD KATRA Railway station to board flight/ train for home.
