Our Founder:

Mr Vijay Gond, a small town boy hailing from Boisar located in Palghar district of Maharashtra has always a dream of exploring and travelling the world since his School days. He had a keen interest in the subject Geography and found it fascinating to study about different places and the relation between their people and environment.

After passing out SSC with first Class, due to family & social pressure he opted for Science as his father had a dream to see him as an Engineer. It was one of his worst decisions as he was not at all comfortable with Science. Physics and Mathematics were too tough to handle. He somehow managed to clear HSC and considered himself very lucky to pass with second grade scoring approx. 50% marks.

He later decided that he will not let anyone control his life and will choose career as per his interest. He joined Graduation program specialised in Hospitality Studies from VIVA College affiliated to Mumbai University. Within the span of three years he managed to learn in and out about different aspects of Hospitality industry. He then studied specialisation Course in Tourism Management studies followed by IATA foundation course affiliated to Montreal, Canada.

After a successful academic career, Mr Vijay worked for various reputed organisations like Air Lufthansa, British Airways, The Club Mumbai, Go Air etc. Within the span of 4 - 5 years of work experience, he acquired enormous knowledge and contacts all around the world.

It was in the year 2015 when Mr Vijay decided to start his own travel company and thus Vigo World Holidays was founded.
