MV Kavaratti, is designed especially for the Lakshadweep and its main intention is to promote tourism. It is 120 meter long and has carrying capacity of 700 passengers. MV Kavaratti also has the capacity of 200 tons of cargo. It is the largest passenger vessel ever created in India that was build with an estimated cost of INR 173 crore.
