Day 1: Colombo - Dambulla

 On arrival at Colombo airport, our representative will meet you and escort you to Dambulla(154 km; approx. 3.5-hrjourney). En route, visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and Dambulla Cave Temple. Dambullais a vast isolated rock mass 500ft high and a mile around the base and is home to the famous Rock Temple dating to the 1st Century BC. Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage was set up in 1975 to house the abandoned and the wounded. Over time, it has grown to become a big family. A unique experience amidst elephants and their life: Not to be missed!Overnight stay in Dambulla.


Day 2: Dambulla - Kandy

After breakfast, proceed to Kandy(72 km; approx 2 hr journey). Visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress (also known as Lion Rock), Matale Batik factory & Spice Garden. Overnight stay in Kandy.


Day 3: Kandy

Embark on a Kandy city tour that encompasses visits to Gem museum, Gem shop and Peradeniya Botanical Garden spread over 67 hectares containing more than 4000 species of botanical treasures. In the evening, visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relicand witness the Cultural Show. Overnight stay in Kandy.


Day 4: Kandy - NuwaraEliya

Visit NuwaraEliya(77 km; approx. 1.5-hr journey). En-route visit Tea Factory and Tea Plantation. Commence on the NuwaraEliya city tour, Gregory Lake, Victoria Park & visit Sithaamman Temple. Overnight stay at NuwaraEliya.


Day 5: NuwaraEliya-Kitulgaga - Bentota



After breakfast, proceed to Bentota via Kitulgala (approx.. 2-hr journey). Visit the Sea Turtle Farm & Hatchery, a non-profitable organization set up for the survival of Sea Turtles for the next generation. The "Turtle Farm" is situated in Habaraduwa (southern part of Sri Lanka - Galle District) near the beautiful beach.Later, take a tour of Bentota city. Overnight stay at Bentota.


Day 6: Bentota - Colombo

    A drive through the city will take you to the busy commercial areas as well as the tree-lined residential neighbourhood of Cinnamon Gardens. Visit Fort, the former British administrative center and military garrison, Sea Street - the Goldsmith's quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area, where there is also a Hindu Temple with elaborate stone carvings, and the Dutch Church of Wolfendhal dating back to 1749. The historic Dawatagaha Mosque and the former Eye Hospital are two buildings in Cinnamon Gardens worth visiting. Also visit the BMICH, see the replica of Avukana Buddha and the Independence Square.Overnight stay in Colombo


Day 7: Colombo

After breakfast, you will be driven to the airport to board your return flight.
